Deep and thoughtful conversations don’t always have to be anxiety-ridden. Taking the time to listen to God and listen to people and responding out of having done that well is the secret to taking conversations to the next level. Anna will take you step by step through the practice of this, empowering you not only to speak into the lives of those God allows you to meet, but also modelling and teaching others to do the same through this workshop which can easily be replicated with others.
Anna became a believer through a friend in high school who boldly came up to her one day and gave her a Bible and asked her if she would take the time to read it. It caught her somewhat by surprise, but she felt compelled to give it a good crack because this was a friend who listened to her and loved her well. Anna loves meeting new people and bringing them into her family and home. It isn’t always easy, but she loves the way God has done this with her. She is married to Andrew and has a very active one-and-a-half-year-old daughter who currently keeps her very fit. She has always been drawn to working cross-culturally, sharing Christ. She has been a high school teacher to Muslim students, an English language teacher, a mentor to people seeking to serve in cross-cultural ministry overseas, and more recently discipling international students to faith and in faith at Macquarie University as part of the AFES staff team.
